Pensees Bookshop is an independent book store located in the Northwest corner of the Courthouse Square in Charleston, IL. We carry approximately 40,000-50,000 titles in virtually all genres. We are open 10-5 Monday through Saturday. Book and document restoration and rebinding services are offered at reasonable prices. See local news for author signings and other special events. We are always interested in purchasing estates and individual collections.
Bookstore Terms
We accept checks, money orders and all major credit cards. Illinois residents please add 6.75% sales tax. Refunds will only be granted if it was determined that the book that you received was "not as described". For example, if we listed the book as "VG" and failed to note that there was underlining in it then we will gladly issue a refund. If you have any doubts as to the condition of the book and/or it's contents then please call or e-mail us and we will answer your question/s very promptly.
